Become a Facility Maintenance service/project manager: The position is demanding but fulfilling if you enjoy building relationships, creating value, and seeing immediate results and impact from your work, this may be the position for you. The position commands attention to detail, time management, customer service, and a motivation to work and make money. No 2 days are alike. No experience is required but we do require motivated individuals with a willingness to learn a new position, a new industry and equip themselves with new skills. We are a small company that has been growing fast. We are general contractors from a desk. We work hard and often but we have fun and make the best of all days. This is an entry-level position with potential opportunities to grow into a Project Manager position. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, has strong project management skills, and is client-focused. With experience in facilities maintenance and work order management; not required but a plus.

Salary Range: $40,000 +commission and bonuses (based on experience)

Job Description:  Service Managers have the ability to manage and maintain a desired level of project execution daily. Projects include plumbing, electrical, concrete, asphalt, flooring, landscaping, painting, lighting, and routine maintenance. Scope and trade knowledge is helpful but not required. We are a General Contractor from a desk. Day to Day responsibilities would include:

  • Responsible for project development and execution from start to finish
  • Communicate and maintain relationships with contractors, clients, and all team members
  • Project information gathering and estimating
  • Contract management and resource utilization
  • Daily progress documentation
  • Logistical scheduling and planning
  • Prioritize calls, emails, and communication according to urgency and importance
  • Emergency on-call schedule rotation evenings and weekends
